Rotary International Youth Exchange logoA Great Opportunity for International Travel for Current Secondary School Students in 2013

Twelve months in a foreign country with board and accommodation provided by host families is offered by ROTARY INTERNATIONAL to all students who will be 16 years old but not yet 18 on the 1st of January 2013.

Rotary is looking for bright, well-adjusted students under eighteen years of age as at 1 January 2013. Their principal purpose will be to act as Youth Ambassadors for Australia.

Students will be given the opportunity to experience first hand different cultures and lifestyles. At the same time they will be informing their host community of the Australian way of life and building better international understanding and goodwill. These are the key objectives of this program.

Exchange students in 2013 may reside in Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Norway, Peru, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland or Taiwan. Travel expenses are paid by the parents of the student although financial constraints should not deter applicants as some limited funding is available.

Follow the “How to Apply” link above to see if you qualify and to find out more about the application process.

The Closing Date for Rotary Youth Exchange Applications for 2013 is
March 31st 2012
